Top Speed Reading Programs Review

There are a myriad of speed reading programs out there on the Internet, from software, audio programs, physical course materials and ebooks. With so many options, how do you separate the real deal from the fluff?

Are you going to buy up every single pogram out there just to test it out? Let me tell you that it’s going to be a costly exercise! How do I know? ‘Cos I’ve DONE it… Over 4 figure!!! Heck I could write a thesis on the subject now…haha….but I’m not doing my doctorate.

What I did was come up with a review of the Top 3 programs (based on my own opinion) that I’ve come across. Hopefully this will assist you in deciding which program to go for..

Pros:

  • Simple to use
  • Improve reading speed & comprehension
  • Different difficulty levels to cater to your current ability
  • Special techniques that make reading fun and enjoyable – you’re even allowed to import your own reading material to learn!
  • Claims to increase your reading speed by 3 x
  • Able to install on up to 3 computers, with 5 user profiles per installation
  • Provides a demo version which you can download and try it out for yourself (this is a great feature as you’ll be able to gauge for yourself how much you like it before even paying a single dollar)
  • Works on both Windows and Mac

Cons:

  • $69.95 (not exactly an affordable amount for everyone, but considering the features, it’s justified)
  • 30 Days Money Back Guarantee only (considering that they have a demo version which you can try it out first, I doubt if this is even an issue)
  • too many paid add-on options although they are really OPTIONS if you have special interest in certain specific subjects (although I just wished they had included all the add-ons as part of the deluxe package, that would be a sweet deal)

They are designed to make learning fast, fun, and to offer a solid foundation for someone to continue building upon. Only thing is, it’s one of the higher priced programs in my top recommended list.

16 Minute Speed Reading Audio Program

Pros:

  • No nonsense, simple concept
  • Easy to follow
  • A means of being able to read 2 to 3 times faster in just 1 week
  • It saves time as it’s only a 16 minute exercise.
  • One of the shortest program, and yet effective.
  • Only $27 (affordable)

  • It’s an audio program, so no installation / compatibility issue with your computer.

Cons:

  • It just focus on one technique
  • Too simple (although this is a pro for me)

They claim that you can double your reading speed in just 16 minutes. That’s achievable but at the expense of comprehension. However, when I practiced a couple more times, it did indeed double my reading speed with full comprehension. This is one of my Top 3 programs simply for the fact that it’s simple, takes only 16 minutes of my time, and effective!

    • Simple to follow instructions that someone with a 3rd grade or higher reading level can follow
    • Easy navigation system
    • The ability to double or triple reading ability in a matter of days
    • Reduce boredom with reading
    • Eliminate a failure to retain what has been read
    • Only $29.95 (affordable)

      Cons:

      • Need to install software (just my preference to not have to install anything)
      • 30 Days Money Back Guarantee
      • The salespage is a bit cluttered, so you’ll need to dig in a bit to find the info you want.

      It comes with credible reviews and reputation. The only drawback is it’s 30 Days Guarantee and it being a software that requires installation. Among my recommended programs.
